Age of Sail Museum

Age of Sail Museum is located in Port Greville, Canada on 8334 NS-209. Age of Sail Museum is rated 4.6 out of 5 in the category maritime museum in Canada. We are a community run, non-profit charitable organization. Our museum focuses on the lumbering, shipbuilding and communities of The Parrsborough Shore. We have been in operation since 1994 and currently boast 6 display building an archives, genealogy file and a cafe and gift shop. Located in rural Nova Scotia our goal is to preserve the local history while educating others on our area, promoting inclusion and honesty and cohesiveness not only in our displays but in our community itself. Like most museums our biggest assets are our volunteers and the few staff we can afford to hire. It is the communities passion and the generosity of locals and visitors a like that has enabled us to grow and continue growing.
