We were totally impressed. And he took the time to educate us on some aspects of animal husbandry in a manner that was easy to hear. He has great compassion for animals and humans alike.
Dr. Ruiz's passion for his work is clearly evident in the way he treats his clients and his animals. He's always teaching! He has a gift with animals as even my high spirited fellow behaved himself. The teeth-floating was thorough and so were the other tasks I asked for. Dr. Ruiz returns calls promptly. He is a good person to have on side and to bounce ideas with as he seems to maintain his academic connections/interest at the professional veterinary schools. He's good at both the practical and the theoretical.
Dr. Carly Ruiz was extremely professional and compassionate with our family and our ailing dog, going out of her way over the holidays and even assisting us on New Years day. It is so much easier treating and saying good-bye to a family member in your own home rather than a clinic. Much less stress on the patient(s). Fisher says "Thank you".

Dr. Ruiz went above and beyond our expectations. He has a really great mobile setup which lets him be efficient, and we were really happy with his care. We appreciated how he outlined various options and let us decide on the best plan for treatment of our sheep. We recommend him without hesitation, and he'll be our first call if our animals need more veterinary care.
I was really opposed to having my horses teeth floated with the power float, due to a past power float that cut my horses tongue, so Dr. Ruiz said he would do it by hand for me, this, in itself, is amazing. What vet does this for a customer. While he was doing the hand float I felt really comfortable with him and told him I would allow him to use the power float to make his job a little easier. Long and short, he did an amazing job on both my horses. I was really impressed with him. He also did not have the attitude that alot of vets have, he was really appreciative of my business and worked with me and not at me. I loved him!!!!
