A fine maker of kilts for a very affordable price - even for rather more obscure tartans! I would strongly recommend Barry to anyone who might not be inclined to drop 500 dollars on a kilt made elsewhere. As a testament to the business's integrity: I ordered a pair of tartan flashes; they weren't ready in time with my kilt, so Barry kindly sent me a free pair of great flashes with which to make due!

Barry was an absolute pleasure to do business with! communicative, helpful and fantastically priced products and services - BEST IN CANADA! I'm based in Montreal but was heading over to Vancouver for a week of work including an evening event where I was wearing my kilt. I needed a couple of items (a new belt, hose and kiltpin and not only did Affordable Kilts have the best prices out there - Barry made everything easy for collection at a convenient spot in Vancouver. As good as this was he went the extra mile when I realised on the night of the event that I had forgotten to pack a sporran - I called him and it was no problem for him to help me get something suitable for the event at 0 notice and at a very reasonable price indeed!
Very happy with these guys. We had some troubles with some items being in stock but with Covid its completely understandable. They made it right and took really good care of me. Will definitely be coming back.

Outstanding customer service is only the start here. Barry was incredibly helpful, even though I emailed him in the middle of his holidays! I thought I had waited too long to order in time for Robbie Burns, but he made it happen! The kilt itself is wonderful - good weight, solid construction, and comfortable as all get out. If you are in the market for a new kilt, this is where you want to shop. Five stars isn't enough!
