Kathy at affordable cremations is such an amazing lady. I have recently had 2 losses in one month and both times I have called affordable cremations and they have made everything so easy and less traumatic. When my second loved one passed I was overcome with grief and extremely overwhelmed and shocked to now be dealing with 2 people's cremations and end of life wishes. Kathy called the hospital for me to get information I didn't have, she texted me anything I was missing and generally made me feel less alone. This company is also very straightforward with urn costs and will not take advantage of you. I truly appreciate their kindness and professionalism in a very hard and trying time.

I have used Affordable Edmonton cremation my Aunt and my Uncle as they did not have any children. Now we're using them for my brother-in-law. They are very reasonable in pricing and their professionalism is Awesome. I have very good remarks about Affordable Edmonton cremation.

My experience with Affordable Cremations has been highly disappointing. The Edmonton office I was directed to is not a warm, welcoming environment. In fact I had to wait outside for the attendant to arrive. Once inside, the attendant did not offer her condolences to me. I pointed this out to her, at which point she became embarrassed. It is a tiny cardboard-wall-like area, sectioned off of the side of an auto repair business, without so much as a chair! I stood for 45 min doing the paperwork, on the day I lost my dad. This is the office I was directed to, by the owners of Affordable Cremations, and Park Place Funeral Home, to go to, to make final arrangements for my dad. I could not have predicted that this is what I would encounter when I chose a cremation service for my dad. It was atrocious, an embarrassment to the profession. The very neighbourhood is industrial and in that, problematic in itself. There were people sitting outside the entrance door smoking pot in a broken down vehicle. Once inside, as loud as if in the same room, was a man ordering car parts, using insensitive language. I was appalled, as was the chaplain friend that accompanied me. When it came time to pay for the cremation services, I was given a personal “yahoo” email account in which to direct the funds. I left the horrid office, and immediately called the owner, to voice my concerns and share my experiences. I was told that the Affordable Cremation business is a recently created (2 months old) subsidiary of Park Place Memorial in Sherwood Park. [Any business can sent up a professional email account in less than a day. It doesn’t take 2 months, if this time frame is even true.] The owner offered no apology and no compensation. I am extremely disappointed in this business. I recommend you go elsewhere.
I highly recommend Affordable Edmonton Cremation. Our family experienced a tragedy and they were with us throughout. Very professional and sensitive to our needs. I really appreciate your attention and care for my well-being. Thank You.
