World class care! The staff are great and a lot of fun.
Dr. Stogdale has been amazing with my senior dog, Jax. I had taken him to a couple other Vets prior to seeing her and I wasn't happy with the advice they were giving me at this senior stage in his life. I do not agree with all traditional medicine/ diets which is why I sought her services. Jax has been seeing her for a few years now and every time I go, she knows exactly what he needs, she provides clear and concise feedback regarding my concerns, she always has an explanation for my questions, and she always reassures that I am doing everything right by him when it comes to diet, activity, supplements, overall care, etc. She is also very patient with all of my questioning. I am confident in her expertise and that Jax's health is as good as can be with her assistance. Her fees seem a little bit on the high side at times, but for the assistance and expertise she provides, the fees are worth it. I have access to a cheaper Vet through my employment but I still choose her for his care. In addition, the Reception staff at St Vital Vet are always polite at the time of check-in and check-out.
I do not know what justifies the HUGE fees this vet charges. IF BEING a HOLISTIC vet would mean that there were few clients then MAYBE. HOWEVER I thoroughly believe they are very busy BECAUSE THEY ARE a holistic vet and they are one of only two vets that offer some holistic options. IF nothing else ... IT IS money gouging... WOW. Their rates should be more in line with regular veterinary care to give more people a chance at this type of knowledge to assist their pets. They would make a decent living regardless. I was BOWLED OVER. They also charge MORE by time. So there is no set fee. Just outlandish to begin with - and gets more outlandish by spending some extra minutes, The clock ticks for any extra time - YOU PAY EXTRA. That adds insult to injury. Too bad for all the dogs that could benefit. NO EXCUSE. Great or not, IT IS Dispicable
Great implementation of social distancing, easy steps to follow. Our cat was given a natural treatment which solved her issues within the week and it didn't cost an arm and leg. Highly recommend!
Dr. Kris Dyck is an incredible vet. She takes her time, is extremely knowledgeable and explores all options if there are any issues at hand. She is personable, friendly, and you can tell she really has a heart for animals. We discussed all options for my cat which has moderate gingivitis, as well as holistic ones. I'm very glad I went to see her, and will be making her my life-long vet for my cats.
Very helpful and caring! Dr.Dyck takes time to explain everything. I was not left in a waiting room waiting for results Dr.Dyck spend the full appointment with me explaining everything about my dogs health. Highly recommended.
Very knowledgeable both Dr. Stogdale and Dr. Dyck. It can be difficult to boost appointment on short notice and it's difficult to get a hold of the doctors as they are always in appointment or surgery but the receptionist always take detailed messages and pass on to either doctor and call you back in a timely manner. The clinic itself is very clean all staff members are friendly and everyone always has a smile on their face. They greet my grumpy cat every time and give my anxious dog treats!
