I was introduced to Access Ballroom when I went to a wedding show with my fiance. We won the raffle for a free lesson with Gil. Upon completing the lesson my fiance turned to me and said \I like him; let's do our wedding dance lessons here\ A great opportunity to spend with my fiance leading up to the wedding, it was a wedding decision we have no regrets in making. Fun and inviting the atmosphere of Access Ballroom does not have us shy away from dancing but rather encourages us to practice and do better. Communication and adaptability even during uncertain times was no issue for Gil and Valaria who always communicated with us clearly and got back to us usually the same day whenever we had questions or concerns. If you are thinking of doing you wedding dance or just want a fun activity to do together I highly suggest Access Ballroom.

What a great night. The experience I’ll talk about was the Hollywood Party & Open House. There was a good amount of people. It started with a beginner swing lesson. Everyone had a blast learning to dance it with their partner. Those who were single joined together and they switched partners as well so you really got a chance to feel the difference when you get a different partner. Then the party started! They always had a teacher showing the basic steps for the dances you didn’t know. They had games and prizes and to top it all of some great performances by both students and staff. I would definitely recommend going to Access Ballroom Studio in Toronto for Salsa, Bachata, Tango, Kizomba or any of the other Social Dance styles. Here are some nice pictures from the event.
Gil is our teacher. My fiancé and I are learning rumba and swing for our wedding dance. We enjoy attending our dance lessons there. We are growing more and more at every dance lesson and lots of practicing at home. Gil is very patient and he has a great sense of humour, which makes us feel comfortable during the dance lessons. The way Gil teaches is very straight forward, he goes through every dance step thoroughly so we understand what he expects us to do. We are so thrilled to have our wedding dance choreographed from Access Ballroom. The environment is amazing. This will be one to remember in many many years. Thank you Gil and Valeria. Access Ballroom is utilizes an exceptional and unique method for teaching people of all levels how to dance. If starting for your first time, the beginner package will introduce you to their system: private lessons, group classes, and practice parties. The private lessons are to help finess your skills. You'll go over simple mistakes and the instructor will help you fix them. They apply multiple different methods to help you learn - showing you the steps, dancing with you, and explaining how to improve. The group sessions each let you learn a choreographed dance from an instructor at your skill level with classmates at your skill level. You learn basic steps and moves but will also be taught new moves - which can be perfected in private lessons. The practice parties are like nothing you have ever been to. The party transitions through all styles of dance taught at the studio. The instructors take turns dancing with you ask well as other participants. They will show you basic steps of each dance if you do not know, or work with you to practice the ones you do. Access Ballroom is a great environment full of encouragement, understanding, and fun. I highly recommend this studio to anyone looking to learn! Dance styles taught: salsa, merengue, bachata, tango, rumba, cha cha, waltz and more!!!
My wife and I absolutely loved our time at Access Ballroom. We wanted a beautiful dance for our wedding day and they delivered!! We weren't dancers to begin with and they did an incredible job at teaching us and preparing us for our wedding day. We received tones of compliments for our dance. Thanks so much to Access Ballroom for everything and we would strongly recommend them to any Bride and Groom at all dance skill levels.
