An interesting museum with very well displayed exhibits. You can tell a lot of care goes into this spot, and they have some really interesting displays. If you're an Islander you'll recognise a lot of the names spotted throughout the exhibits. I loved how they pinpointed names on the map. As someone from the Eastern end of the Island, it was cool to see all the familiar names and understand where they came from. This is one spot I would definitely recommend making a part of your day trip.

Excellent museum with Acadian history. Great movie.

A well-prepared presentation of the trials and tribulations of the French colonists who wanted to start a new life in Acadia. It was fascinating and informative. Worth an hour and a half to understand those who first colonized the island.

My grandchildren and i really enjoyed the film and all the great displays. The woman was very kind and answered all our questions. Great to learn the history of the island and that area. Thank you so much

I wasn't sure what to expect here but we really enjoyed it. It's well done, and admission price was very affordable. We did this museum at the beginning of a day trip around the west side of the Island, and found it was a perfect, educational first stop. We spent just under an hour here. Staff were friendly, pleasant, and knowledgeable.

Had lots of cool artifacts about the Acadians but I wasn't into it. Would recommend if you are studying Acadian culture or looking to see how other people live their lives.
