Academy of music is excellent. The staff are very friendly, and accommodating with finding lesson times that work with my kids' schedules. The instructors are extremely talented, encouraging and excellent with kids. I appreciate that students get to borrow an instrument for 2 months to decide if they like it or not.
My daughter has been taking guitar lessons at the Academy of Music for 6 years and has had some fabulous teachers. They have always provided a balance between Conservatory content and the music she loves to listen to and play. This has fostered her love of the guitar! Thank you!
Both of my children look forward to their weekly lessons - the instructors are great. My son learns so much more than just how to play notes on the guitar - he gets lessons on composition, theory, rock history. The rockband camp is such a great opportunity for kids to develop confidence on stage in a cool setting. Recommend!
I am in love. I am so happy I decided to take singing lessons. Sarah is so amazing and tried to get in as much she can in the 30 mins. So great so excited :)
Would sure love to spend some money here. If only they stayed open during the posted business hours! On more than one occasion, I have taken time out of my day to drive to this location only to find they have already closed for the day. I'm not talking about a few minutes early. Today, I arrived at the store at 330pm knowing the hours are until 4pm. Already closed! Very frustrating and not a good way to run a business because it shows great disrespect for it's patrons.
A very supporting learning environment with lots of great and experienced teachers. The school also offers lots of performance opportunities for students such as recitals and band programs, which greatly enhance their development as a musician.
My daughter loves taking her piano lessons at the East London location. Everyone's awesome (staff, teachers and fellow students). Highly recommended!
