Great company to deal with. We've purchase many temperature alarms for cottage monitoring, mostly Sensaphone units and the occasional FAI. Always shipped promptly and any technical questions were answered well. Canadian pricing seems high, but that's likely more to do with USD - CAD then anything AA can control.

Let me start this by saying I hardly ever write reviews but this company is just horrible to deal with. I purchased my SpotProtect device online in January. I purchased it for the purpose of monitoring the temperature inside my walk in cooler. After receiving the SpotProtect I called in to customer service many times to set up the device and to set up notifications and wi-fi connecting steps. A few month later my walk in cooler went down and all inventory was lost and a full compressor replacement was performed. My SpotProtect was of no benefit during the period when my walk in was out of temperature. After calling in to customer service again today I was informed that from the very beginning I should have had an additional thermostat accessory. That information was never shared during the multiple calls I made setting up the device. When I called customer service today to return my device I talked with Nathan and was told that basically the company is not letting me return my device because it is out of the 30 day return period and that I could send it back under warranty for another one but it would still be of no use to me. I recommend NOT doing business with this company and the customer service is horrible.

They bundle a Dakota Alert system with their Dry Spot monitoring device however they don't tell you how to hook it up and they sell it without markings! No way to know this is a dry spot transmitter they are trying to make work with a driveway alert system. The directions on the Dakota Alert are clear, the 12VDC output should be jumped for the zones you wish to monitor, however if you set it up this way you will ruin your device and they won't stand behind it. Look its two leads, one red one black, how hard would it be to mark them as to where they go!
