My son has been very happy with the teachers he has worked with. I am pleased with the level of 1-1 instruction my son has with the teachers. The open learning environment is inviting however a challenge for my son who is easily distracted. I appreciate the communication I have regarding my sons progress. overall I am happy I chose Sylvan over other learning facilities.

Our family has participated in Sylvan Abbotsford programming for the past 2 years and their environment has exceeded our expectations. There are three main reasons, we choose the Sylvan math program for our son. First, we wanted a supplementary program that would be customized to the specific needs of our son. This means: fix gaps in his understanding, attentive to his specific questions, and teach at the pace of his learning. Second, we want math to remain a fun challenge. Often in the Public School system, there are naturally kids that struggle in math and it becomes cooler to fail than succeed. We wanted an environment where it was always cool to succeed in math. Third, we believe because of our son’s interests he will need to be fluent in math for his future career path. So, it’s important for us to invest in this for him to have the best chance at achievement. Sylvan Abbotsford, is under the leadership of teaching expert and highly talented, Bonnie Poznekoff. She provides regular reports and meet-ups to connect with us so we can approach the process as a team. I am grateful in my son’s math progress and he has thrived in their customized program through consistent delivery. Sylvan has made math a no big deal in our house which as a parent leaves me over the moon.
