I went to Abbotsford with my friend Asif to survey flooring items for his and my homes. To have lunch, we found King Kabob, a BMA certified Halal restaurant. Girls taking order and serving food were vey nice and friendly. Kabob were hot and fresh served right from the grill. Rice were of best quality Basmati with very pleasant texture. Place is of reasonable size and very neat and clean with proper protocol of COVID-19. As Samaq is being considered necessary part of Persian Kabob but it was not available on table or with serving, I inquired about it on the counter. Ali, the Chef, explained that it is available on request and not available on table because of COVID-19 safety measures. Although price seems relatively more compared with Persian food restaurants in North Vancouver, but availability of good quality Halal Persian food in Fraser Valley is a blessing and it okay to me as I know that restaurant have to pay high price to buy Halal meat which is 20-30% expensive compared with regular meat. I will certainly visit again with my family.

Absolutely the best experience and food! The ambiance is nice and cozy, the food is so delicious and the service is great. The kabob’s sandwich’s are the best! Will definitely come again!

You've got to give this place a try. It's fantastic. The lamb is melt in your mouth good. So juicy and fall off the bone tender. The food is presented beautifully. The restaurant is spotless. The service is quick. I'll definitely be back again soon.

Went to King Kabob after reading good comments but was greatly disappointed with the quality, quantity and over pricing of the food. The price they are charging for the amount of meat served is hideous. Not going back there. The only good thing about the place was their hostess who served us.

Best kebob / middle eastern cuisine in the lower mainland. It's WAY better than Yaas in North Vancouver. Amazing flavors and quality ingredients. Always seems like a home cooked meal. The quality of food is the best around and hasn't changed over the years. Very consistent quality and service. Definitely is a must try!

I last came here 2 years ago and I remember I was pleasantly surprised by the taste and quality of the food as well as the price. However, when I visited again a week ago my expectations were not met at all. It seems the owners are trying to save money by reducing the amount of food on the plate. Although the portion sizes look to be large most of the plate is filled with rice and salad; the kebabs have shrunk more than 2 times in size, this makes the meal prices absolutely ridiculous. Although the service was good, I will not be coming back here again.

Worst persian restaurant in vancouver. Very thin slices of meat, and very expensive. If you like persian food and there's no other option the food here is technically edible and the owner is nice but North Vancouver is really the place to go. Yaas is good, mehmaan had the best kubideh, apparently zeitoon is halal and the food is comparable to yaas but i dont frequent establishments that serves alcohol so i am going by word of mouth. But yeah not only is the food not great but very small portions.its like kabob for ants
