Took a certified check to deposit was told 5 days to clear. Had just opened an account due to all the great things we heard of CIBC in Smithers BC. Checked today which was 5 days and was told Nope not going to happen person who took the CERTIFIED CHECK failed to note its US funds. So instead if calling the number on the back to verify funds wr got penalized. Now they day 28 of NOV. Not ALL CIBC IS THE SAME!!!!
