For me, Bob's Repairs is by far the best vehicle repair shop. Bob is an honest, kind man. Estimates, repairs and in particular, pricing is straightforward and extremely fair. I travel from Richmond to bring my German vehicle here as that's how knowledgeable I find this shop. Jeeta

I called last week and talked to the guy in charge, presumably Bob. I asked him how much it would cost me to recharge my A/C. He said it starts at 65 and goes up from there if any parts needs replacing. I then clarified that if all my car needed was fluid, I'd be paying 65 and he said yes. Fast forward to this morning, I drop my car off and receive a phone call from him two hours later telling me that nothing is wrong with the system and the bill would be 150 to recharge the system. When I confronted him, he said that it didn't work that way. Even though he'd told me a week previous that the fluid would be included in the 65, that it was not actually included. If I had known that prior, I never would have taken my car there. I told him not to touch my car and I picked it up. I then took it to James at Abby Mac Auto Marine on the corner of Ware street and South Fraser Way. He charged me 60. Be careful getting your vehicle repaired here. He told me one price over the phone and then more than doubled it after I brought my car in. Save yourself some time and money and take your vehicle elsewhere.
