My birth experience with my first kid was very positive there. I had no birth plans, but all the nurses and doctors around me listen to my concerns and expectations. My nurse Launa (i guess I am spelling the name right the lady on night shift for room number 4021 on 26 dec 2020) is the reason My daughter is 100% beast feeding. All the other nurses after her shift were equally helpful as well.

I was here recently to visit someone and was quite pleased with the reception during this COVID time. The people at the reception asked a few questions and directed us in the right direction. And, we found our way. The information for keeping distance was clearly marked and displayed all along the way. Also, there were several hand sanitizers along the way. This is a new hospital. It has High ceiling and wide isles. It is also clean. There is a Starbucks near the entrance.

I took my friend here after a car crash. They’re helping him swiftly and the staff that i met has all had great attitudes.

The treatment here is absolutely humiliating and cruel. More than one nurse laughed in my face while I was supposed to be receiving psychiatric care, one accused me of lying about my condition, and another made taunting comments at me when I expressed frustration over the care I was receiving. The doctors seem generally uninterested in what you have to say and don't take complaints of pain or distress seriously. I once heard screaming in the ER that was met by resounding laughter from the nurse's station. If you want/need hospital care, go to the Mission or Vancouver hospitals. This place will kill you.
