Long waiting time more than 4 hours in Emergency. Even though there was no much people. NEED to increase speed and numbers of doctors.

Long wait time, Pay parking is annoying and expensive, staff is ok, but the doctor was really nice, friendly, and fast. Good effort, and still 100 times better than Chilliwack ER.

Improved service, expanding space. Very busy, but excellent response from everyone.

Going to an ER is never something pleasant because you're either unexpectedly ill, or with someone who is. I have multiple experiences in this ER in both of those categories., and can say with confidence that this is a caring, competent, and well run facility. The good news is this hospital is one of the best in the Fraser Valley. The bad news is that many people know this, and so they have understaffing and over-crowding issues to deal with on an ongoing basis. I don't have any relatives who work there, but have plenty of friends and acquaintances in the medical field across the Valley who have confirmed these things (great hospital, understaffed, etc.) over and over again. And I can tell you that 95% of the doctors and nurses that have dealt with me and with aging father and auntie have been caring and competent.

I was taken to the hospital this past Tuesday after suffering a stroke, albeit a mild one. I was admitted almost immediately and then left laying on a stretcher in the ER corridor for the entire 48 hours I was there. On top of that one of the doctors noticed that my hands were trembling, something I've been Afflicted with since the age of 14. It's a condition known as familial tremors. This doctor immediately started to preach to me about how I was about to go into alcohol withdrawal symptoms, asking me questions such as have I ever been arrested for public drunkenness, impaired driving Etc. Then she asked if I had ever passed out somewhere and woke up not knowing where I was. The answer to all 3 was an emphatic NO! I felt like I was being interrogated and not treated for the stroke I had suffered. I only wish I had taken her name so I could consider legal options. This woman has no right to judge people, she is there to treat symptoms. PERIOD!
