I am happy this company for the great services to thier costumer. I am highly recommending them to repair your machine if in trouble because they are very knowledgeable to fix any kind of machine.

Our bandsaw went down a few weeks ago APL sent Rod out to do the repairs. He was prompt very professional and honest, we will continue to use APL just because of Rod!!
This used to be a great company that I really enjoyed being at but due to a management change around 5 years ago it is a difficult place to work and a shadow of it's former self. I would recommend getting at least two other quotes from machine tool companies before using them. The biggest problem with this company is the new management. it possess a unique mix of ignorance, arrogance and incompetence that makes each day a challenge for staff, suppliers and customers alike. If you are thinking of working here then know they will low ball your salary and give you promises of raises after 3 months. This will not happen. There is no benefits or RRSPs or anything else. There is no training, work is slow and you are sent home with no pay frequently. When there is work, you are sent to the wolves alone with no training and have to do all the work from start to finish with no support. I would not recommend it. To anyone.
This used to be a good company with a good business ethic at one time. They employed top quality employees that really knew thier craft, and took pride in it. Customers & employees were treated with respect. This same company today is nothing like that anymore and the good reputation they once had is gone....just like all of thier qualified employees...gone. Before using this company, call some others first as this company hasn't had qualified journeyman millwrights or electricians employed here in a while now. This place goes through employees like nowhere else because of lack of proper management, low wages and no benedits of any kind. There is no training for employees and as long as a person is "mechanically inclined" they're hired. If they don't happen to have a manual for your particular machine, you're out of luck for a proper diagnosis and repair. Parts are another thing altogether...their markup is doubled and most times more. What few customers they have left, do yourself a favor and find someone that's not out to just take your money for substandard service, but one that actually wants your business and proves it by giving great service, like this company used to but no longer can.
