The first time @33_bowen..it was a great choice for lunch with friends. The food was excellent and the service is topnotch all the way. More than five stars!!! The building is beautiful, original circa 1800. Not only was the food fantastic but the history behind it. A must try if you are ever in the Hamilton, Ontario area!

I like the ambience of this restaurant. It wasn't busy on a Saturday night. Service was good. We ordered a pork chop, beef brisket and a salad. The pork chop and the salad were good but the brisket was disappointing. It was not tender.
Stopped in for a quick drink with my partner service was amazing, I will be back to try the food the menu looks amazing ! Cheers to a future date night!

Originally decorated revealing the wooden beam structure of the initially built for Vernons Gingerale wharehouse. Beautiful architectural lighting dimly illuminating leather covered chairs and benches on original wood plank flooring. Novel place settings, good wine selections, great food . Sport bar feel with the ambience of a sophisticated pub. Great food, great staff. I'd like to come back when it's busier for a real feel. I wouldn't call it romantic but definitely cozy.Great job!
Surely a place worth stopping by, the food is awesome and fresh, the pricing is fair and it is consistently neat in here. Kudos.
We went for Valentines. We were seated immediately, the service was prompt, professional and friendly, and the food was exquisite. Two professional musicians provided musical accompaniment to a well presented and well prepared meal of appetizers, soup, an entree, and dessert. The old stone and wood in the upstairs provides a wonderful acoustic environment for music while keeping the general noise level down. Two people can have a quiet and private conversation and still enjoy the music. Even at capacity, the ambient sound never overwhelms. We had a wonderful night and will return.
The restaurant was very welcoming. We were seated right away and the staff was friendly.
