Excellent service! Baraa was most helpful in selecting my tiles and was exceptionally energetic and understanding. He came to my place to assess my flooring measurements and requirements and even helped tear up the rotten old carpet, which he took away. A week and a half later the tiles were efficiently installed by the contractors . I am very happy with the product and the whole experience and would happily return to Alexanian's for other flooring in the future.

Pros: wonderful selection of flooring in various price points and excellent service. Con: incorrect information provided by sales staff versus carpet installers for trim height off the floor. I've finally gotten around to writing a review as we're finally finished our major renovation that included wall to wall carpet in our living room. Last summer I visited a few different stores. I loved the service and great selection at Signature by Shelley and I was confident with my final selection that met my price point and looked great too. I asked how high our contractor should install the trim around the edge of the room prior to the carpet installation and I was given a measurement by the sales woman helping us. Unfortunately when the carpet installers arrived they were puzzled and frustrated by the space left for the carpet under the trim. They asked us why there was so little space?? They managed to tuck the carpet under but it is uneven in spots and carpet fibres peek out from under the trim as they just couldn't get it under the trim any better. We never bothered calling the store as what was the point? The trim had already been installed and the room painted; we weren't about to rip everything out so our contractor could do it again and luckily the height of the trim was just high enough that the installers could barely get the carpet tucked under. It wasn't ideal but I was pretty confident that Shelley's wouldn't cover the cost of re-doing the room despite the fact that their sales person gave us incorrect information. The installers were already at our place when they made this discovery so we made the best of it. Lesson learned though, don't rely on a salesperson for technical information.
Baraa was our salesman. He was wonderful. He was very patient, very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. I'm so glad he served us. My carpet was installed last week & we love it. Would recommend him to everyone. Thank you Baraa.
It took a bit of following up but in the end, we are very happy with the product and work of this company. We got some very good aesthetic input from Baraa which improved the overall look.
Overall we had a positive experience with Alexanian. We dealt with Baraa as our salesman and he was very helpful and knowledgeable. And our carpet looks fantastic!
Having visited Newmarket’s Alexanian’s store and unable to find a ready made carpet, David suggested that I go to the Shelley Alexanian’s Signature store. Having don that we were greeted by Baraa who was awesome, handsome and so helpful and knowledgeable. We carefully chose carpeting to be prepared as a custom order. Everything was so professionally done for us. The carpets arrived in Newmarket and I was able to pick them up. Then David suggested using the remnants for smaller carpets. What a delightful and positive experience the entire process was! Baraa and David have been amazing and I thank them so much for their help. Everything came in “great” time. I love my carpets.!
Ahhhhhmazing Service. Sales Rep Ani was very professional, listened carefully. Ani also has a decorator's eye. Very open to my needs and budget- took time to give PROS & CONS of options and explain window treatment mechanisms. The choices at Alexanian can be overwhelming but Ani was very patient when I was confused and indecisive. There was absolutely no pressure. Equally impressive service from the installers. All time schedules met, all mechanisms, warranty and care explained. Happy Camper. Would highly recommend. 10 Stars.
