Do yourself a favour and treat yourself to a dozen fresh sesame bagels from Primrose. Their seed to bagel ratio is perfect, the chew is amazing, and they freeze well if you are saving some for another day! I know that their rock salt bagels are also out of this world. These bagels do not disappoint!

In my opinion Primrose Bagel Co is way OVER hyped. Yes, their bagels are made with fresh ingredients and crafted etc. but they were just ok. Willing to pay the high prices for quality food but the quality was not there. Ordered two bagel sandwiches and waited for over 25 minutes for them to be ready. Zero, warning from the staff when ordering that it would be a long wait and zero acknowledgement from staff that there was a long wait time. Coffee is absolutely terrible. Other customers apparently know that their coffee is terrible so take note. Highly disappointed. Slightly embarrassed that I paid over 50 for 2 sandwiches, small cream cheese, ½ dozen bagels and a coffee.
UPDATE: The Bodega on a rock salt bagel, is just so very joyous in the belly. There is no other bagel you need to eat in the GTA. None. Primrose continues to nail the perfect texture and taste, and their commitment to perfection is amiable. Every time I go I buy extra to share with friends and family and convert them to the Primrose way. They are always happy. This is the way.
Not only great people but GREAT BAGELS AND OTHER STUFF TOO! A truly unique bagel combining the best of Montreal-style and the best of NY-style. So, Toronto-style! They’ve got a cool curated collection of products and they make a mean sandwich. Worth the trip.
I tried Primrose today, after seeing it recommended on an online forum. The bagels are so fresh and so delicious! And the online booking system to pre-order is very easy, and instructions for pick up are very clear. Thank you for a yummy lunch! It was also nice to be greeted with warm smiling eyes - despite the masks! I'll be back!
Great neighbourhood spot for fresh NY style bagels. They also make sandwiches to order, and have a great selection of cream cheeses, shmeers, pickles and other treats. I had the Bodega sandwich which is kind of like an egg sandwich with big mac toppings on a bagel... it was on point! Also took some bagels and shmeers to go. Prompt and friendly service.
Yummmmm! Just moved to the area and I can tell this will be a regular spot for me. Their bagels are divine, particularly their onion bagel stands out for me. Great sandwiches with fresh, homemade toppings/ingredients.
Fantastic house made fillings and bagels. Easily the best bagel sandwich I've had. The Lox & Sås and the Lower East Side sandwiches were on point.
