Irena R. helped me spruce up my outdated resume and interview skills. Andrew B. went out of his way to help guide me into getting a job in the field that I wanted to be in. It's been 2 years now but I'll always be grateful for their help.

Veronica Dichoso has a very warm and welcoming heart. I am so thankful for the services she offered to me and my family. She solved and answered all my questions about Immigration issues - very efficient and fast. One time I went without appointment and I remembered she helped me right away, even without appointment - I had some very important questions that day but she did not rejected me or declined me but she helped me to solve the issue. Very smart and thank you very much!

I am a new immigrant to Canada and my experience with YMCA is good. Helpful staff and treat you with care! 1) I got a chance to take English test there and with those marks I can go to college even! Wow, it saves a lot of money if you decide to go to college as IELTS is so expensive! 2) PLUS, you get a chance to go to English classes if you are not so good at it, they help you with job search and even housing, explain about tax and credit cards... For me very valuable! Great experience and main great help that worth a HUGE thank you from my side!!! Any question I have your settlement specialist there to help you! Thank you Mrs Ben Mohammed and Mr German Alvarez! :)

Accompanying a friend of mine to their appointment, I was disappointed beyond belief at the unhelpful attitude of the immigration specialist Veronica. She was negative and disheartening and actually made my friend feel as though there was no hope and any attempt to apply for permanent residence was futile. Her attitude of starting of with a no made my friend feel like they had made a mistake coming to Canada. At the end, after my friend asked detailed questions about various possibilities, Veronica admitted that there were certain possibilities. That being said, other staff, including the person who arranged the appointment and answered queries, were helpful and friendly.
