Ordering delivery from IKEA was a last option because of the added cost, but the stores did not have the desk I wanted in stock. A day before my chosen delivery date, I received a text reminder from XPO. I never heard of this company so I decided to look up reviews... they were awful as you can read below! I was a bit nervous on how my delivery would go. However, my experience was very smooth. I am guessing they have taken the feedback seriously as it could reflect negatively on IKEA as well. I was sent another text in the morning that my package would be delivered today, and another text when they were about 30 minutes away (it ended up being more like 60 minutes but I was home anyways), and a call when they were 2 minutes away. There was a driver, and a loader who brought my things to my house. The loader was very nice and professional. He offered to help carry it inside because he said it was heavy, but due to the pandemic I told him he could leave it at the door for me. Masks were worn by both drivers. Overall my experience with XPO was great and I am relieved not to have the negative experiences written by other reviewers. Hopefully my experience is the new normal going forward after they received so many bad reviews.

We bought a fridge from Lowes, and they had XPO deliver it. XPO came on a wrong day. XPO was rude. XPO did not bring any tools -- I had to lend then my tools. They dragged the fridge across our floors and scratched the floors in two different rooms. Do NOT use this company. If I could,I would give no stars. Lowes needs to hire a different company for their deliveries.
I am overall happy with their service. the 2 delivery persons were very professional and helpful!
The Worst delivery service You have ever seen! It’s delivery service so unreliable and greedy! They declared time slot 4 hours 1-5pm and said we will get notification 30 minutes in advance. Nonetheless we decided to wait whole time at the place. Nobody arrived and no notifications or calls as well. Around 6pm they changed delivery day so we go to our old home (We are currently in the middle of moving) Suddenly at 6:50 they call us and ask where we are, driver is waiting and so on. Finally We agreed they will wait until 7:10. I call the driver one more time at 7:10 to ask to wait 3 more minutes I was almost there and He said they are already gone. How could this be even possible? I still can not believe that such thing can happen!
I’m actually surprised by the bad reviews. Maybe they dramatically improved the service recently? I got 2 deliveries from XPO Logistic via IKEA but during both times I had good experience. The delivery person contacted me beforehand, handled with care and delivered to my unit without any problem. The delivery person was nice and helpful as well even though I had complicated order where I had to refund the item directly to the delivery person (weird IKEA return system).
