My parents moved in 10 days ago, the staff was very friendly to me as i was helping to move in some articles. I was impressed by the security and the access card system. There was someone near the front door always to let me in. My first impression was that the place look looked like an island resort. Very clean, staff dressed in suit and ties. Covid rules were strictly enforced. I met the 3rd floor room cleaner and she was awesome, offered guidance and assistance. I asked for a few minor repairs to be done to the room before parents moved in and it got done. So far my parents love the place and the food. They love the amenities as well and my dad can grab a burger anytime he wants, he likes that. Good luck Mom and Dad, you deserve it. D
When my grandparents needed a place to go that would provide them with true independence whilst reducing the dangers of stairs in there home, preparing meals and maintenance, Cedarview provided the perfect offerings and location for a retirement community. Lots of socialization, the events coordinator always have a wonderful month planned for everyone, the food is great, management efficient and friendly and the location in Woodstock provided the best of all worlds. I would highly recommend contacting the community manager for a tour if your looking for somewhere your family members will truly enjoy! Thank you Cedarview and see you at the next event!
I wish I could give you zero stars but I'm forced to give you one. You can't exclude residents from meal time because they are not social distancing. If two residents live in the same room, they won't be required to social distance from each other. They will be required to social distance from others in the retirement home. The older couple who runs this place are extremely rude and abrupt and do not wear their masks while working inside the retirement home as they are required to. Super unfortunate that not everyone is having a good experience with this company. I suggest a major change in management.
Management is horrible. Rude and unorganized, needs fixing.
