My partner and I stayed here in winter last year and we had such a great experience! Not being an artist I really appreciated all of the beautiful work hanging on the walls, it truly makes such a fun atmosphere! The cabin was cozy and was my favourite part! With the wood burning in the fireplace to keep us warm it’s the perfect spot to drink a glass of red wine pick from an endless stock of records. This place is a true gem! We also rented the canoe in the summer and we were treated with the same lovely hospitality! Come for the convenience and stay for the cottage feels right next to downtown !

All I can say is….Thanks Val! I had the opportunity to stay one night at Taraxaca House last week. I’ll offer the following observations: 1.\tCleanliness: Val obviously keeps his home neat and tidy which is very important to me. It felt like I was staying at my own place. 2.\tCreativity: As a creative person myself, I really appreciated all of the eclectic art on the walls – inside and outside of the home. When I entered the driveway, there was even an impressive mural on the garage door by famed Winnipeg Artist #JordanMiller to greet me. 3.\tThe View: No, not the TV show, but at the back of Taraxaca House! The view was amazing! It’s hard to believe I was actually staying in the city. After dinner, I relaxed just outside of the “cabin” right by the river. It was blissful. 4.\tStudio: Val showed me his impressive printing studio which spurred on my creative side. I promised Val I will be back one day to take advantage of his services. 5.\tQuiet: Personally, I needed a break from the busyness which is my life right now, and I certainly received this at Taraxaca House. I promised Val I would be back one day, and I will. Complete 5 star service! Thanks again Val. Cameron
