It's been 18 months since the last time, but I still feel irritation where they stuck in the needle. They told me pain was normal. They even explained that the nerve is so close to the vein that the needle sometimes hits the nerve. However, when I called for advice after a few months, they told me I probably hurt my back. Unfortunately, Canada is not as litigious as USA, and medical malpractice is just not lucrative enough for a lawyer to take on a contingency basis. So, they get away inflicting permanent damage on people. If they tell you the pain is normal and encourage you to just tough it out, don't listen to them. Demand that they stop the procedure. Go ahead and get mad at them if you have to. Don't be polite. Don't be nice. After the damage is done, they won't be nice to you.
