Huge selection of music books including lesson, theory and compositions! It looks a little like a wholesale distribution store when you walk in but they welcome public shopping. Very helpful staff member took time to help my novice self pick the perfect books to learn to play the piano.

Very disappointing experience. I normally like to support local stores rather than buy online but it looks like some stores aren't worth supporting. Background: I needed a couple hundred dollars worth of RCM piano music for my children's lessons so I called ahead a couple of weeks ago to check if they had stock. I was told the new stock wasn't available but would be available the week of April 9th. I also let him know that his website was out of date showing the 2015 edition of the RCM music. He pleasantly told me he'd be happy to match the prices listed, even though they were for the previous edition of the music. I said I'd see him the week of April 9th. I wasn't happy about waiting two weeks, but I figured it was worthwhile to support local stores rather than buy online. Experience: When I arrived at the store in the middle of the day, it was closed. A sign said the staff would be back in about 15 minutes. Since I had driven halfway across town to get here, I waited. Once the store was open again, I told him what I was there for. He unashamedly said he was completely out of stock. What? I reminded him that I had phoned two weeks earlier to find out when stock would be available and that he had told me that it would be available now. He then tried to blame me for not putting my name on a reservation list. Trouble is he never mentioned that option during the phone call even though I made it clear I would be buying the product from him on the timeline he outlined. All the while he couldn't be bothered to apologize. Nor would he make eye contact, instead wandering around the store and into his office instead of looking me in the eye. Website is still out of date. Poor customer service. No apologies. And no way for me to get the music I need for at least a couple more weeks. Brutal. I won't be back.
