Highly recommend!!! This should be your FIRST choice for a kitty adoption centre when you’re looking to add to your family!! Jennifer is an absolute pleasure to work with and the kitties are very well cared for! Not that this should make up your mind but her costs are the lowest in Winnipeg for adoptions and they include spay/neuter and vaccinations!! You have to adopt from here!!

Full disclosure, as someone who is very allergic to cats, this was stepping somewhat out of my comfort zone, and this was a visit for the kid's enjoyment. Let's start with the location, don't go to the front door on Henderson, place is only accessible round back. We just ended up parking on a residential street as the parking for the actual cat cafe is pretty much non existent. You will be let in and out by staff, I take it so cats dont escape. Price of admission is 5 per person, no discount for kids, they do have debit/credit machine. So, having the word cafe in the title, I had expected a... well, to be able to order coffee or something of the sort, but from what I could tell there were only 1/bags of chips available. There is a definite smell of cats in the place. Look, bottom line, if you love cat's this is a neat concept, the cat's themselves are super friendly and affectionate. If you're not a cat person, this will be an interesting time for you. Pro tip dont wear anything you're unwilling to have cats with claws walk on.

Support these kinds of places ! They don't get all the government support other places do... The humane society would rather just put animals down not here they take care of these cats like they are their own....

A cat lovers dream! The kitty's are so lovely, the owner is so friendly and nice. It's a wonderful place to go especially when you're stressed and need to cuddle a bunch of cats! I pretty much have to be dragged out each time because I never want to leave

My son loves cats. I'm a dog person. The plan? Go to the cat cafe. Sit and drink a coffee. Have cats wander around to my kid's delight. Entry is from the rear of the building. Admission is 5 regardless of age. They take debit. The furniture was likely donated, considering this is a not for profit. There's a mix of old couches and patio furniture, with cat stuff (wheels, towers, sleeping areas etc). While I did not see any, Winnipeg does have a bug problem. I am always cautious about sitting on salvaged furniture. Everything is in one big room, including kennels with kitty litter, which results in the smell. I didn't see coffee. They may have had small chip bags. The smell would have put me off consuming anything. They have "I like cats" sweaters available for 20. We stayed for about 30 minutes. I wouldn't call this a cafe; more like somewhere you'd come to watch or play with a cat, or several cats. You can purchase treats to give the cats. I'm not sure these cats are available for adoption, but in theory they might be. We came home and washed everything, and showered. It's a neat idea but the execution needs polishing.

The cats are well taken care of. The owner of this establishment seems to really care about these cats! It is such a shame there are people here making snide comments about the furniture. Imagine, a non profit accepting donations! Never would have guessed! Anyways, back to the cafe. The cats are friendly and engage with people. Cats that are not ready to interact with people or other cats are in kennels for their own peace of mind. There are chips and canned drinks for sale likely because there is no separate place to prepare food. All the cats are up for adoption, and in an environment like this you gain valuable insight on which cat would be best suited for your home and family. The adoption process is thorough, and puts the well being of the cats first. The fees are reasonable. All in all, I will be back. I will also try and support this place where I can, as it definitely fills a need in this city!

Great place. People need to consider the money and effort a person need to put into all of these kitties. 5 admission, what do you expect? A place that offers high class furnitures and decoration as well as a complimentary chocolate chip Frappuccino? If you love cats, 5 help with their daily cost of living and you could even donate/ support more if you are generous. If you don’t love cats, why even bother going to a cat cafe?

Very good place. I didnt want to leave! To the person who gave the 1 star review. So sad that you feel that way, however you sound very high maintenance. What were you think? A 5star Starbucks with cats? It's a place that relies on donations and help. Maybe you should had called before you got there! Places like this make someone who suffers from high anxiety an escape! To the cafe, kudos!
