The guy I had helping was awesome. Asked about trout fishing and he was honest in saying he didn't know much, asked about bass fishing and he explained everything he knew about it. Well worth the drive for me.

7 calls to ask about details for a broken rod that went in for repair 10 months ago. 7 promises for a call back. Not one single call back. 0/7. Very frustrated at this point. I can not even verify if they know that I'll ever even be getting this expensive rod back or if they lost it or what the heck. Prior to this I've had decent service, but had no needs for anything special. I always prefer to buy local, but this is really frustrating.

Good bunch of knowledgable young guys but the layout is a little confusing and there's really no signage or communication telling you what is on each rack or shelf. That would be helpful. Otherwise competitive prices and they have some things you don't find at the chain retailers
