Not only have I used Rob Everitt and Everitt Design for my business/studio design needs, but I have also been photographing his many residential and commercial projects for over 23 years. Rob and his team's attention to detail is what always gets me excited when photographing one of the spaces they've designed. Everitt Design truly are fantastic at what they do and the final results are always spectacular! I'm never disappointed as I'm sure all his clients are as well! We have worked with Rob Everitt and his team on several projects, most recently on the renovation of our home in Tuxedo. Rob is creative; his ideas blend beauty and function so our home meets the needs of our busy family. Rob and his team are respectful of budget and provided us with options at different price points so we could make an informed decision for our project. Rob included our young children when planning the colour choices for their bedrooms. He respected their ideas and ensured they felt included in the decision making process. After purchasing an older home in River Heights, we worked with Rob Everitt to turn our 90-year-old character home into a modern space, while maintaining the interesting architectural features. In our meetings with Rob, he listened to our ideas for the house and incorporated colours and design to create a warm and comfortable space. The project included: designing a 400 sq’ addition to provide a main floor family room featuring a large tray ceiling and laundry room/mud room with an attached garage, updating our home in a most functional manner. His meticulous attention to small details, such as hardware and lighting, and large details such as cork flooring in the kitchen, family room and bathrooms creates a continuity so that spaces in the house flow from one to the other. The total makeover also included 2 new bathrooms and granite kitchen counters. We love our home and friends and visitors constantly tell us how welcoming it feels. Rob deserves the credit for transforming a historic residence into a family home and we cherish every moment. Thank you Rob for sharing your expertise with us.
