Brought a few teachers from Colombia and my wife to see the figure skaters training. Very nice. They got to step on the ice for the very first time and loved the experience.
Vollmer has great free open skate sessions during the holidays. During the year, the pricing is really cheap. I do wish there were more public sessions. One thing, they need to ensure the refs are allowed to remove skaters who are not skating safely. My daughter was knocked over by kids weaving in and out of people very fast. Also kids were hopping over the side boards, and the ref was not allowed by management to enforce consequences for breaking the rules.
Seldom book rooms for social get together. Ample parking and good ambience.
Excellent facilities. Great prices for skating and swimming.
