I have relied on Second Chance CPR for many years to provide First Aid and CPR training to our Wee Watch Licensed Home Child Care Providers. Second Chance goes above and beyond the ensure our Providers are certified in First Aid and CPR-C before they open their homes to families for day care and when it's time for recertification! Their courses are engaging and focus on the information our Providers need to feel confident and prepared. Thank you for all you do!!!

By far the most informative and enjoyable course I've ever taken. Whenever I have to take any training courses I expect it to be very dull, very long, and overall, very unengaging. However, with Second Chance, this was not even remotely the case. Cory did an excellent job of balancing information, humour, seriousness, and class engagement in the course. His delivery of the material was spot on and would reiterate information to really drive it in. What started out as him waiting for someone to answer, ended with us saying the answer before he finished the question. Humour was his strong suit that really relaxed everyone in the course and got them to pay attention to what he was going to say. His jokes were very deadpan that went along with the subject matter to relieve the severity of it so people wouldn't feel overwhelmed by it. He did a great job of getting everyone to laugh. That being said, he didn't make a joke of everything. He was sure to not minimize the importance of the lessons and didn't hold back the truth of how bad things could get. He gave insight to what the reality of being a first aid responder meant and the responsibility it bears. Finally, he encouraged everyone to share stories that related to what he was teaching, everyone had at least one story to tell, and every time he would listen. This lead to many of us asking questions that he wouldn't hesitate to answer, even if it got off topic. Thanks Cory, I'm looking forward to when I take this course again. When in doubt, pump it out.

I took their full healthcare course at St.Clair in Chatham. The time went by smoothly, and wasn't boring at all. Cory made it fun and definitely added a lot of humor to the subject. I will be using them again when I need to renew in the future!
