Small but pretty interior - decorated with antique items and wooded chairs, tables. Crowded on weekends, I'd say more suitable for a hangout with someone than a place to study. The basque cheesecake was to die for. Soft but the original cheesecake texture is maintained. Not too sweet. The store has been established for a very long time hence gone through several owners - the store is always improving.

Great little cafe with delicious baked goods. Covid19 health protocols in place and ample outdooor seating. Plenty of healthy deli items. Dessert heaven and the coffee is just as good. Its a great community cafe with a slightly heavy price tag to match. Nonetheless worth a try. The staff were a little disorganized but made the experience a pleasant one. Support local as they too support local merchants selling some art and jewellry. I definitely will be back.
The tastiest Americano and carrot cake in town! Try any of their pastries and you won’t be disappointed as almost everything baked fresh each day. Keep up the good work, guys! :)
Good breakfast baking goods ! I tried Japanese style corn cheese bread! It was super duper yummy !!! Strongly recommend Also I took their cinnamonroll! 4 different flavors They made my Saturday Also kind service !
Very cool atmosphere for starters- one of those cafes where you want to sit down and enjoy the aesthetic. Did some work there as well, ideal for solo but a bit tough on Zoom meetings. Fantastic coffee and raspberry bun, and really sweet staff to top it off. Highly recommend!!
I was excited to try the latte here but got disappointed with the service here. One girl made the latte and poured to much milk in so the coffee spilled. She wiped the cup and fixed the latte art by re-drawing it. However when she picked up the coffee and handed it to me, the coffee spilled all over again. I asked if she could re-do it and walked out to wait for my coffee. When I got back, I realised that they just wiped the cup, poured out the milk on top and drew something else. I could tell immediately by seeing all the coffee marks on the cup. The cinnamon bun is another disappointment. I had it heated up but it is so so dry I felt like it is cookies or breadcrumbs. Couldn’t finished 1/3 of the bun. So sad
A friend of mine told me about this place last year, she said their cream puffs are amazing, so I asked my cousin brought me one box of puffs when I came Vancouver, but it was... average, nothing special. I turned to ask my friend, then I knew they changed the baker. the cream puffs which I tried, from size, and presentation, both level down from before! When I pointed out this fact here, they got snapped! I hope they can improve their own products and service, instead accusing other’s opinion.
Love this corner spot, always great to visit after hitting up Granville Island. Great selection of homemade baked goods and good coffee/tea choices to boot. Highly recommend!
