Have 2 young kids going to Whitby Karate for the past 8 months. As a parent I find the classes to be very well structured with the perfect amount of discipline. The kids have fun going yet understand and respect the rules and how to behave. I'm very impressed with both of my kids development and progress in such short time. Keep up the great work Sensei Adrian!!!!

My daughter had been going here for years and I have found it to be an excellent dojo. So good in fact, that I joined myself. Sensei Adrian is patient, knowledgeable and runs a very positive and empowering school. The art is traditional but the classes focus on strongly practical self defense. This is not point sparring Karate. The other black and brown belt students are highly involved and the environment is safe, respectful and motivating. I highly recommend this school for children and for an adult looking to learn.
My girls have been coming here for 2 years. They find the class challenging but comfortable. They are developing self-confidence and discipline. They are learning self-defense at an age-appropriate level.
Whitby Karate is a great place for kids to learn karate. They are patient and make the art enjoyable for them. My daughter cannot wait to go to class!
My husband has been at this new dojo for only a few months. And I can't keep them away. He must enjoy it because he goes to every class he can. He comes home feeling great after being involved in an active class.
Very positive learning environment. All ages and levels build confidence, fitness and have fun! My son has loved every minute and looks forward to his time in the dojo. Thank you Sensei Adrian and all the instructors for the excellent instruction and program.
We have been a member at Whitby Karate since March. My son is enjoying the classes and the Sensei and instructors are really great with him. The location is ideal, lots of parking and close by for us. My son looks forward to his class every Tuesday and Thursday and I look forward to seeing him get his first belt at the end of the month. I would definitely recommend this dojo - they even let you do the first few classes for free.
I have been attending these classes for years now and I can honestly say that it is a wonderful and, more importantly, friendly place. I'd recommend this first to anyone looking for karate classes.
