After dealing with a different flooring store that left me in a lurch, I had to run around to find a flooring store that could deliver on an expedited timeline. Fairmont flooring had a wide selection of stock, and was to work with our timeline. And when we made a mistake with the order, Al was very accommodating and able to make it right. In my opinion Al went above and beyond to help and make our renovation go as smoothly as effortlessly possible. I would recommend Fairmont Flooring to everyone.

I am delighted to have walked in to Fairmont flooring were Al, the store owner who is super knowledgeable, was able assist with my flooring needs. He had given me invaluable advice on how to proceed with replacing the old carpet on my 2nd floor and stairs with new hardwood flooring. I have to say that the selection of flooring is huge so you'll definitely find what you are looking for. And after looking at other local flooring stores as well as home depot, Lowes, etc., I found that Fairmont's prices were also very competitive and fairly priced. Al was also able to arrange for installers to come in and do top notch install in a timely manner. In short, don't go anywhere else and waste your time, this is the place to go. I highly recommend Fairmont flooring!

Unfortunately, I did not have a good experience with Fairmount Flooring. When I met with Al, he seemed very helpful and knowledgeable but once the order was placed and paid for one thing after another went wrong and Al showed no accountability for his mistakes. First he mislead me to believe the order would arrive within a couple of days. It did not. I had to keep calling Al to find out what was going on. Al's response was the delay was due to covid (covid has been around for a year and I would expect him to remember that when promising the delivery dates). Next the colour ordered did not match the wood sample we brought in. It was considerably different. When I asked Al about it, he became defensive, would not answer the question and was generally rude. Then he forgot to place a critical part of the order leaving me in the lurch again to have to run around town trying to find the replacement. And through all of this he offered no gesture of customer service. My experience with Al (who I assume is the owner) is he presents as very helpful and sincere, until he has your money, then he doesn't care what goes wrong and doesn't care about the customer's experience.When you're dealing with thousands of dollars of product, this lack of customer service is not.acceptable. I used to be a supporter of local businesses and my experience with this company has caused to reconsider where I will invest my dollars next time

Great store, I had a great experience dealing with the store, the personnel where very friendly and helpful giving lots of tips how to install myself. A big difference from competitors. My fireplace and bathroom look amazing. Glad I stopped in to see the variety of tile that Fairmont Flooring carries their are so many,

Staff was friendly and knowledgeable; upfront with costs, the installers replaced the hardwood on the second floor, were professional, and did a great job. They were considerate and cleaned up the area before they left. I would recommend Fairmont for any flooring needs.
