We have always had such pleasant experiences! We've had Dr. Mandel, she is amazing! Straight to the point in what you need to do with your little one which I like so your not filled with too much info. I always leave feeling way better knowing we have dealt with such experienced pediatricians. Great atmosphere! Friendly staff! Website won’t work, realized it After staying awake the whole night to book appointment. They won’t pick up your phone call or call you back.
The doctors and staff seem friendly and very caring, but we experienced a few hiccups which made our time difficult. We arrived early at the Whitby Mall, but after checking near Service Canada (where I was told), the east tower, and the west tower, we had spent 1/2 hour walking around and I was thoroughly frustrated, to the point of tears. I called 4 times to find out where they were exactly, but every time an answering machine picked up and provided NO options to talk to an actual human being. I left messages, but no one called me back. I even emailed them after checking their website from my phone. Their website only lists "Whitby Mall" as the address, no unit number. The information maps in the mall do not list Durham Kids Kare or the doctors at all. When we finally got there, they handed me a package of questionnaires that they were supposed to have emailed me, but did not. (I checked everything, even the Spam and All Mail folders -- nothing.) As a result of this mix-up, we had to book a follow-up appointment for a month ahead, after we had waited months already for this appointment. Please provide better direction, and the opportunity to speak to a real, live human in case of situations like this.
They have more employees than patients. Still it’s super slow.
Doctor and Staff are friendly and helpful
Extremely rude staff, insulted me in front of 4 other doctors in training about my child, told me he has serious issues and he weights as much as the doctor, he is 7 and weights 83 pounds,.they weighed him at 126 pounds and continue to insult him when we came in about a black out eye problem
