I was working there on a tv show. The beautiful scenery and weather made the experience actually pleasurable.
First time launching the boat at Sunset Marina, definitely not the last. The ramp is smooth and wide enough for multiple boat trailers. The launch isn’t tide dependent as we launched at low tide without any problems. There’s a dock right beside so you can tie up and park your car, and there’s also a hose station so you can spray off your boat and flush the engine after a day out on the water.
the lady managing the maria seems to get a bit stressed out. but the facilities are quite reasonable. rates are reasonable. I would recommend this for people looking for a place to put trailer for a few days while sailign the area.
Not for bigger boats. Sometimes shallow. Nice staff.
