Great way to appreciate to see the Roosevelt summer home and learn some history. The home is well maintained and has original or replicas of many items. This is a beautiful setting within minutes of crossing the border at Lubec. Staff are friendly and relaxed.

This is a wonderful place staffed by wonderful people. If you love history you will love this place. So many things to see and do including "tea with Eleanor".

If you like free and are completely bored, it's worth the time. Nice area, time is better spent landscape sightseeing.

Such a great place and it is free! Be sure to take the tours and talk to the guides. There are such amazing stories hiding in plain sight! We went in late August and it was not busy at all, a shame for such a great place.

Highly recommend the FUN tour, free of charge, request tickets at front desk. Informative, entertaining, a really worthwhile experience.

There is so much to say about this place. The sense of history as one walks along the many paths or takes a tour ( well worth it ). The cottage is an amazing sight with a very knowledgeable staff to answer questions.

I enjoyed visiting Roosevelt cottage with my family, seeing the house and the furnishings as they existed when FDR was visiting was cool. The guides were very knowledgeable and had interesting stories.
