I visited this garden for the first time ever with my family ( and my kids all 7 years and under) we enjoyed our time and I loved the fact that it’s 4 gardens in 1, the family ticket price was great as well, we paid 40 for 2 adults 3 kids. We had a very nice walk around we spent 3.5 hours and we visited only 3 gardens. The garden has nice walking trails, and one of them has nice small water fall, the gardens are nice for photo sessions. Noticed couple of weddings. I really recommend it you will enjoy the family day

Great park that is maintained exceptionally well. Excellent trails which are kept very clean. The directions and maps along the trails are quite clear and very helpful. There is no entrance fees but paid parking. 3 /hr or max 15. Worth the price for the place that is not crowded and so well maintained. The trails leading up to the lookouts are decent but the lookouts have nothing extraordinary. The fall colors had not appeared yet end of Sept. The place would be looking extravagant when the colors are full fledge out. Mid Oct would be a good time if you'd like to see the fall colors.

Incredible nature, preserved between Burlington and Hamilton. Flora and fauna a plenty. Miles and miles of trails on both side of Captain Cootes, paradise. Connecting marsh, bays and McMaster university. Be refreshed by nature, get lost amongst deer, bald eagles and hundreds of bird species.

Great place for a walk.... can’t believe it took us so long to visit there. Didn’t see the beavers, but saw their work in progress. Great walk along Coote’s Paradise and then into the woods. Will definitely go back and explore more trails. Would definitely be nicer during blooming season, but seems nice at any time...
