This summer was exceptional for the mere fact that I got to be on an awesome beach that felt like home in the Caribbean. It was my first time on this beah, the water was warm, unlike the water in Toronto. It was truly welcoming and fun visiting all the shops along the beach and getting bird poo (sign of good luck they say) in my ice cream to top it all off. The locals are warm and friendly too. I’m definitely going back

Wasaga Beach is the worlds largest fresh water beach. It has lots of space 14km long!! Currently they are limiting entry to certain areas. You can go pretty far out without having to swim due to sand banks. Great shops to buy clothing, swim suits, water toys and more. Several locations to grab something to eat. There's lazer combat, a splash pad for kids, pubic washrooms. Parking is a bit costly 20 for the day by the beach but if you are willing to walk a bit you can cut that cost in half. All in all a wonderful place to spend the day with your family, friends and loved ones.
Perfect place for summer. Sun set was awesome. Great water quality and best place for boating as well.
