Ali and Chad are amazing. Super kind, communicative and are both so great with the pups. My dog is a little skiddish, but she has the best time jumping around in the forest with her new friends. I also feel safe knowing they have a big expanse of private property to let the pups roam wild on for their hikes. Very accommodating with their scheduling as well. I can’t recommend these sweet and loving folks enough!

I am so grateful for Van Island Pups! I have a large 2 year old German shepherd who requires so much exercise and stimulation every day. Van Island Pups welcomed him into their pack like he’s one of their own! He gets the perfect balance of play and structure on his hike, while also getting to practice healthy socialization with other dogs! He is absolutely pooped when he gets home. I cannot recommend Ali & Chad enough! Thank you for taking such good care of my handful of a dog :)

Our Bodhi absolutely adores Ali and you can tell she truly loves all her pack pups. I love and appreciate the time and thought she takes to communicate whenever we need to. Ali, Chad, and Andrea are incredible. They’re professional and extremely good with the dogs. My dog was having problems with aggression towards other dogs. Through their training help combined with pack walks, I’ve seen a remarkable transformation in less than two weeks. She’s more confident, more obedient, better with other dogs, and seems overall more content since starting with them. I cannot recommend them highly enough!
From my first inquiry about availability for my pup to join the pack, Van Isle Pups have been friendly and responsive. We had an interview right away and it’s very obvious that they *know* dogs and genuinely love spending time with them. My pup is nervous with new people and they’ve taken the time to build trust with him (treats help!!) so he can build his confidence. This was very important to me as not every dog walking /pack walking service is willing to put in that effort. Our pup has a regularly scheduled pack walk but when schedules change, Ali has been prompt in her communication, and they have been able to accommodate us. Finally, the Instagram photos are amazing! My partner and I trust Van Isle Pups with our boy, I would recommend this service to anyone
I love Chad and Ali at Van Island Pups! I have one of the most challenging breeds around and they have figured out what works best for her and truly seem to love her as one of their own, despite her quirky ways. She is difficult to tire out but they seem to be able to do it! I work varying shifts and they can always accommodate my little girl even with short notice. They have beautiful posts on Instagram daily about the days hikes and it’s a great way to see how my pup spent her time. I have nothing but good things to say about Van Island Pups! Val & Kora
I am so thankful we found Alison and Chad to for our dog sitting and walking needs a few years ago. I completely trust them with our dog, Ruby, who is a high energy, spirited individual. Ruby always comes home from time spent with them, happy and well exercised. The extra steps Alison and Chad take to share pictures of their hikes and the dogs via their instagram account is really lovely as well.
Ali and Chad have been picking my dog up for adventure hikes for almost 2 years. I trust them completely and am always to pleased to see my dog come home happy and exhausted from a great day. Would definitely recommend Van Island Pups to any dog owners out there hoping to get their dog out for some fun!
