Fresh produce, locally-owned, courteous friendly staff! They carry Glenwood meats bacon (delicious), and Portofino bread products. Great prices on their outdoor plants! Thanks for being open during this pandemic!

Great selection...... popular with locals..... one of the only places that carried okra from time to time.... not that I eat okra that often... but that is an indication of their commitment to catering to diverse culinary adventures. 2 Thumbs up!

Absolutely terrible. Multiple instances of store staff... AND customers... not following covid safety procedures. Call out employees on their behaviour and only get excuses to justify their actions. Not ok. This was my second visit in less than a week. Neither experience leaves me feeling safe or confident that the staff (including deli manager) really respect covid safety measures or care about anyone's safety. We are considering reporting to island health.

Really Root Cellar? A Back-The-F%@K-Up T-shirt? My tipping point, on Day 222. After many years of happily going out of our way to shop in the wide-open-space here, I just can’t bring myself to go back. Do we really need to be told off. Still. Like that? It’s hard enough to make sense of people wearing masks on empty sidewalks, on bicycles, alone in cars, but most of us are doing our best to be good citizens despite plummeting spirits, the wear-and-tear of isolation, the high mental health toll. Root Cellar musings on “gratitude” notwithstanding, this feels like a failure—not only of kindness, but on some not-so-subtle level, of safety as well.
