We called Pest Detective to fill a small hole in our crawl space that has allowed some rodent activity during the winter for the past two years. The services we offered promptly and our particular technician was very knowledgeable and thorough. We continued to see activity after paying 400 for a few visits, then paid another 350 to have the small hole serviced. We have had MORE activity than when we first called, when I asked if they had any explanation for this the phone operator said that they could charge us another 90 to set more traps in the house. I called hoping that we could find a solution to this problem but Ive paid 750 and have a worse problem than we when we began. Has anyone else had this experience and what did you do to find a solution?

Other than the insects being back and feeling like we were mislead in to believing there would be a second touch up visit it was alright. Make sure you understand what this companies "touch up visit within 90days" means. We believed the service rep said they would be coming back to "touch up" in 90 days. When we didn't hear back from them, I called to find out what we should do as we they hadn't been back. We assumed, incorrectly, that CoVID was likely postponing it and so we were being patient. If you go with this company make sure you know that it's you that has to call within 90 days for the "touch up" visit. Make sure that as soon as you see an insect call them, as you will most likely need them to come back. I presume other companies will have similar "rules" just make sure you have them in writing. We also never received our receipt from the first visit, it was supposed to be emailed but it never arrived - we didn't think it was a big deal until now. I suspect the receipt would have mentioned the 90 day caveat more clearly and we would have understood our role in activating the second visit better.... And we definitely would have called within the 90 days as we did see the insects again within that timeframe. They just mentioned that they were still allowed to work and enter people homes during the CoVID shutdown. As disappointing as this has been I am glad they were still employed.
Adrian was very prompt, friendly, knowledgeable, and thorough. He also let me know about an air vent in the attic that needed repairing that I did not know about. Would recommend this company.
Callem was our technician and he was a pleasure to have at the house. He is professional and personable and very thorough. Would highly recommend him and Pest Detective. We haven’t had any issues with rats since their first visit and just had a remediation done for silverfish. I felt very comfortable leaving my home and keys with Callem.
I had Eddie come out and help me about 9 months ago. I apparently wrote a 5 star review on another company’s page. So I’m here to correct it... “Eddie from Victoria was awesome. Very personable. Helped me with a rat problem. Was on time and very willing to help. Would definitely recommend.”
