This review is for passport photos, not weddings/engagements. Bad experience. For passports, it really depends who you get. We unfortunately were met by someone who wasn't trained properly. It wasn't necessarily his fault, but I wish he'd been provided better training. We ended up waiting over 45 minutes for what should take 5 minutes (as the owner states). This made us late for the Service Canada appointment next door. I wouldn't gamble with this place until the owner can commit to training the employees more thoroughly. For the owner/mamager: As a client I shouldn't have to provide training after waiting for 20 minutes. Not training employees really puts them in a difficult position.
Can't believe I paid 29 for a passport photo. They wanted to charge and extra 12 for a digital version! Drab and terrible clerk too.
I got my Passport photos done here on Wednesday, May 22nd after a different business’s photos were rejected(after 10 attempts and a good shot!.. but that’s another story). The man who did my photos was polite, courteous, and funny. He was able to get the perfect passport photo on the first try. Yes this place is slightly more expensive than others (28), but they are professional photographers and you pay for the convenience of being right next to the passport office. He also did a great job working on a baby’s passport photo right before mine. I definitely recommend and would use their services again!
I have only good things to say about Adam and his team at Lightwell Photography and so do my wedding guests! It was such a fun experience working with Adam. My husband and I did both our engagement shoot and wedding shoot with Lightwell and all of the pictures are fantastic! Adam made it so that I didn't have anything to worry about on the wedding day. He was easily able to direct a crowd and keep things moving throughout the day and he gave great direction for photos when necessary, but more importantly he captured amazing candid shots of us and our guests. Adam's outgoing nature and great personality made him fun to work with. I have a picture of my dad that I will cherish forever, thanks to Adam's candid skills! He even spoke to our vendors when necessary, which made things a lot easier on us. I highly recommend Adam to anyone looking for an awesome photographer!

Adam is an absolute artistic delight! He photographed our engagement shoot for us in Victoria - and my husband and I loved the photos so much that we decided to fly him down to Miami to shoot our destination wedding. He did not disappoint. Adam is the king of capturing the perfect candid moment and has a special knack for making the whole experience a pleasure. I would strongly recommend Adam (and Lightwell Photography) to anyone who wants their special moments captured on film - he's a gem.
My partner and I did a photo shoot with Adam for our third anniversary and it was a great experience! We went to a lovely location on the island and the photos are beautiful; Adam is easy to get along with and makes it fun and comfortable. Highly recommend for anyone wanting to make some memories!
