I got my taxes done here in 2020. A few months later, they called me and told me that they looked into my past filings and found that I could recieve about 150 more (somehow) from my file in 2014, to which they just asked my consent to change that file (for FREE). I later received the payment from the CRA, so it was legit. Impressed that they look over your past files in the slow season to make sure you get the most you can! Thanks guys xoxo

Crooks and Swindlers. You can file your taxes easily using an online service and you won't have to pay the exorbitant amount that these people charge!!! Also the "prepaid credit card", What a scam. This company is no better than those loan places, preying on the poor. Go to real accountants if you want to pay someone. At least they will work hard to get you the best refund possible. Unlike these people who just plug numbers into a program and try hard to do "less paperwork" (exact quote from my last horrid experience).
It is wonderful the way our my tax processor Jim patiently, professionally, and most kindly helped me with my taxes. I had some challenging things to take care of with my dual country taxes and he diligently handled it all. This all can be so intimidating for many of us and for someone like him to not to be insulting and condescending like I have had in the past that brought out my anxieties and fears with government paperwork.
I had an excellent experience today with Beverly Stewart. I needed to get late taxes done immediately as a requirement for a time sensitive business deal and she managed to get it resolved and saved the deal. I also had quite a good time hanging out, who knew taxes could be so enjoyable? Feels great to be all caught up. Thanks Beverly and thanks H&R Block.
