Such a wonderful place to browse around for unique and interesting items for reasonable prices. They do offer a military discount which is wonderful and they take donations of many good condition items. It helps Habitat For Humanity so you can always feel good going to the ReStore.

They get stuff for free and the overcharge for it. I also found them to be difficult to deal with. Won't be dropping off anything or shopping there again.

1) I bought something from this place and had not picked it up yet. Then I wanted to return it and they gave me an in-store credit rather then money back. Not happy but fine because I have shopped there several times and also dropped several valuable items off to them. 2) Another time, they argued with me at the till because the blond did not want to return my receipts after returning one item of five. Time was sensitive for me and I needed to explain why a business needs to keep their receipts for accounting. 3) The same girl another time was quite abrupt with another new staff person who has apparently only been there for a couple weeks prior. Very poor attitude for a non profit relying on donations. The whole thing makes me wonder if its all to cook the books. Seems questionable why staff are so disorganized and till staff change so frequently, often managed by volunteers. Re-store brings a lot of money to the table and when proper receipts are not provided and mistakes are made at the till, you wonder if its not done purposefully. 4) Shouldn't attitudes be a lot better in a non profit. Is this not the sole reason for starting such a thing. To make a better community. Try starting with staff attitudes.

This location has a much better selection of more industrial based materials compared to the very overpriced Tillicum and Uptown locations. But still very overpriced for used often damaged goods

Everything you buy helps another family find stability. Lightbulbs, kitchen sinks, furniture and building supplies all here. Best prices in the city. Decreases waste. Wins all the way around!

I recently went to a restore on the main land- and wasn't to happy with the customer service or the prices.I came in today June 4th around 11:45 and was greeted by a cheerful youth volunteer, not only did she help me find exactly what I needed she was super cheerful and a pleasure to talk to. The prices were all reasonable and I will for sure come again. I had a fantastic visit and enjoyed seeing a young teen helping out with such enthusiasm, much inspiration from Emily and the rest of the crew for the great customer service and store.

It seems like people only post negative things in reviews, but I've had great luck at the Restore! I bought two lamps for 10 each which would have cost 100 easily in a store. The place is invaluable for used electrical parts, cabinet, light fixtures etc. It's like any other shop...if you don't like the price, don't buy it! Plus, proceeds go to a very worthy cause!!!
