Listened to the fiddlers (under Daniel Lapp's tutelage) do some recording! The students are obviously having a blast

Beautiful setting and music hall for a variety entertainment, providing an intimate experience. The seats or pews are extremely uncomfortable so be prepared to bring a cushion for long performances.

Beautiful performance of 'A Celtic Family Christmas' with Natalie MacMaster and Donnell Leahy along with 4 of their 7 children. The acoustics were excellent!

This might be my favourite music venue in BC. Great atmosphere and amazing acoustics.

The hall, a retired Methodist Church from a century ago, is an excellent one. The performance, as befits a \scratch\ one (on one occasion, the conductor had us in the audience rise, turn to our left and then right and give our neighbours (and fellow-singers) a back scratch) was of mixed quality - some singers, with more enthusiasm than knowledge, jumped the gun on occasion. The soloists were excellent. The orchestra- a combination of older, semiretired and very young neophytes - gave some unfortunate evidence of its lineage. I think we all (I sing baritone) could use a bit more practice - I know I could. There were also singers who were quite lost, (and sensibly stayed silent) as ones who had never really been exposed to this before. However, it was fun, and I'd likely come back again.
