Our fluffy baby, Maggie (13 yrs old, always a baby to us) was put down in Oct :(. She was well taken cared of by the staff and vets during her difficult time. With the vet's good suggestions and guidance, we were able to prolong her life for another 7 good months with the right medications and care. We got to spend more time with her. I would say she had lived her life to the fullest. We are grateful for the team of staff and vets to help making her journey end smoothly and peacefully. We are now left with one dog and we know where to go get help with confidence if this one needs any.

Dr. Malik and the whole team at VEC have been kind, caring and extremely helpful with the treatment of my pup. I am very grateful for their help in his recovery and the kindness they have shown me and my boy. With COVID protocol it is difficult to not be able to go inside with him, however the team has been absolutely wonderful taking my phone calls, answering questions and checking in with us. Thank you!

This place is an absolute scam. My 3 month old Doberman had swallowed a blue medical mask while she was at a dog park running around. We live in a neighboring city and our normal vet was closed as this was after hours. We had no choice but to take her to here. We had to pay a 110 consultation fee, which were the same questions asked that I had previously answered over the phone before arriving. Then we had to pay an additional 255 for the medication to induce vomiting and then to stop it. The staff was nice and all, but just a total scam in pricing. Fast forward a few months later and My Doberman swallowed another foreign object at the park. Luckily this was in operating hours of the vet where i live, and they did the exact same thing for 62.

Worst vet I’ve ever been to, all he cares about is money. I took my dog there that very clearly had something in his throat and all he did was latch on to the word cough. Told me his lungs sounded clear and fine, then told us we needed X-rays to see if he had pneumonia. As well as wanting to do blood work on top of sedating him and scoping his throat. We wanted to go ahead with the sedation and scope without the X-rays and blood, but when we said that the vet got extremely angry and aggressive with us and said we can refuse to do whatever we want and we could take our dog wherever we wanted as well. Refused to do anything further when I wouldn’t agree to do unnecessary testing and even lied to me to try to convince me to do it. Super unprofessional and least compassionate animal caregiver I have ever seen. For our 110 fee that was required to be paid prior to going in the clinic, he told me he was drooling a lot (Bernese/great Pyrenees cross, of course!) and he had an increased heart rate (he is nervous of men and didn’t want to go in the clinic to start with). Thanks for taking my money and telling me things I already knew. The receptionist was the only breath of fresh air at this clinic. She was extremely sweet and seemed to care about the well-being of our dog (heard him hacking on the phone). The girl that did our triage info on the other hand was terrible, put me on hold twice, didn’t listen and totally mixed up everything I said. If I could give this clinic and experience a 0 I would.

Our 7 year old dog Lucy was very sick. After several visits with our regular vet we were referred to the clinic. Dr. Malik has been treating Lucy for 4 months now and she's doing amazing! She has a rare bowel disease that Dr. Malik diagnosed and has been treating. He's been very understanding and helping us with every step, taking the time to talk to us and answer all of our questions. The staff here have been wonderful as well. Lucy's here today due to Dr. Malik and his staff, thank you so much!
