This is a little gem of a Sushi restaurant on Nun's Island is just as great during the pandemic as it was before. It is a bit pricier than Sushi Shop and other fast food Sushi chains, but that's because the quality is superior - the fish and the ingredients are very fresh and tasty. We ordered for lunch the Tuna Poke Bowl, the General Tao and 2 mixed sushi plates, which came with soup and salad as part of the lunch special menu - everyone was delighted with their meals. The Price came out to 75 before tip, which is not at all expensive for lunch!

We were looking for a dine in sushi place and we called almost 15 restaurants, they were all closed for the dine in. We found this sushi restaurant and it was pretty convenient. The service was good and they had their terrace ready for the customers. The quality of the spring rolls wasn't amazing but we liked the quality. The total price of what you see in the photos with 15% tip was 68. It could be less experience though. The chef's special Nan's island was 16 and not as much delicious as the normal makis.

Good sushi place. Excellent service. Not too crowded. Beautiful presentation. Cozy atmosphere, although, I would hide some construction a little bit for completion. Miso was served in a small cup like dish and the tofu was super finely cut, which was unique in my opinion. Overall very fresh ingredients. Avocado wasn't ripe enough, and other greens were nit crisp enough, but it's not the season, so I can understand. Overall I enjoyed my experience for the price.

We tried this place the very first time last week during lunch and ordered quite a number of items. One of which is the Kokoro (43) a mixed platter of Nigiris and Makis. The was unfortunately not fresh, there was a foul seafood turned bad taste to it, it was a shame because the salmon poke bowl we got was lovely. If you’re here for the first time during lunch, do try their Combo Midi, the cashier don’t display lunch set menu on the table in front of the customer but rather on the table where the customer can’t see so you would have to ask for it (or check it online). This is rather cheeky of them I would say but oh well. This is not an authentic sushi place ran by Japanese so... don’t expect Japanese quality. I returned this week just for the poke bowl because it was good for it’s price and convenient location for us but definitely will not be spending 77 during lunch for 2 pax again! (Lesson learned). Also, I don’t like how the cashier asks if I want to add a tip every time I pay. It’s a take out. Let your customer do what they deem is right. If your service and food is good, this would be reflected in the form of a tip, otherwise, you should reflect on your attitudes in this food and service industry. For all this reason, it’s a 3* place for me.
