We just had a \brand new\ front door that cost us 3,456.00 by Verdun \We're Doing Doors Right\. I attached pics of the damage. The side lite window is scratched in two places (they are deep scratches, my finger nail catches in them). The trim around the door looks like it's been chewed by a dog. The paint on the door outside is chipped in one spot, but hey! I was given a piece of aluminum by our installer who told us Home Depot could color match the door and we could do the touch ups ourselves. Same thing with the trim, said we could sand it ourselves to make it look nicer, then left, planting a Verdun sign on our lawn for free advertisement without asking. Should we also try to fix the side lite ourselves? I don't feel like this is a brand new door. We opened a service request with Verdun. If they honor their warranty, and fix our door in a timely manner to make it new again, I will edit this review. 1 star because the door seems like good quality otherwise.

Great company! I had both windows and doors installed and was extremely satisfied with both experiences. All questions and concerns were handled in a friendly and efficient manner both in person and over the phone. We bought a front door for our house. From the purchase of the door through a wonderful knowledgeable salesperson on the first visit, to the installation of the door it was a nice experience. The product was exactly what we were expecting. The installation was done expertly by 2 installer in a very reasonable time frame. They were courteous and polite and answered all questions we had. It was very satisfying experience dealing with the staff and the company

Only rating the sales experience. Pros: nice, polite and punctual Cons: Not competitive at all, pushy and dishonest. They are only responsive when it's to their benefit. In today's world being transparent and honest goes along way. Making things up to get business does not. Therefore they have lost my potential business and I am already shopping elsewhere.
