One of my favorite spots for skewers! I love how they have two locations (one on Main and one on Denman). Checked out the downtown one yesterday night and went right at 5:00pm and it was not busy at all. The restaurant is nicely partitioned with hand sanitizers on every table. The food itself is fantastic. Perfectly seasoned grilled meat. I personally love the beef tongue, the hearts, the gizzards. The lemon provides a nice cut of acid. And of course, can’t go wrong with a pitcher if Sapporo. Delicious!

I have been here twice and received great service from all staff. Place is tiny especially during the pandemic season because of restrictions. I highly recommend people to book in earlier in case of long wait time. Parking is across the street along the community center. I’m glad that it’s a Japanese run restaurant. High quality food!

I went here several times and I think food gets worse. Skewers were too salty and Takoyaki was super chewy like Rice cake. Maybe they heat it up many times? I’m not sure. Also, Carbonara Udon had no flavor.

Many friends have recommended this place as a must visit in Vancouver. Everytime I walk into this place, the aroma is fragrant, you can feel that everyone is enjoying themselves. Food is delicious and best paired with their Okunomatsu Adatara beer. Seating is limited so I highly recommend making reservations ahead of time!
