Jim and his wife May are super nice and with extraordinary warm welcoming attitudes. They make you feel like home and treat you with good manners. I overheard a conversation between the customer in the pictures and the owner (Jim) and he mentioned that a white shirt is no good for the passport photo because the background is also white. Thus he provided the customer with a coat/jacket to wear on top of his white shirt as a solution.
Arrived just as the owner was about to close even though it was just after 5 PM and business hours go until 6 PM. Don't blame him as things might be slower due to the pandemic. I asked him if he could fit me in and he kindly obliged. I needed to to get passport photos taken for a UBC exam and the price was incredibly reasonable. The owner is very kind and has been in the business for over 30 years. Protect him and this business at all costs.
The owner is such a friendly and professional person to deal with! The service was quick and did a good job on my photos as well.! I am just satisfied with the whole experience including the price they charged me!!! Photos for passports, Citizenships, P.R, IDs and etc, he just knows the dimensions for it and does a great job for a good price!!! This place certainly deserves a shout out !!!
Had good experiences here for my passport photos. The studio is usually busy with people waiting for their photos. Taking the picture in the studio takes about 3-5 minutes...wait time for the owner to process the photos takes about 30 mins to an hour depending how busy he is. Owner is Korean and they are very friendly. Free street parking on Victoria Drive.
